MMA fans have been wondering whether former two-division champion Conor McGregor will ever return to the cage. He has made plenty of headlines over the past few months, but none have been for his fighting.

This weekend, the brash Irishman is back in the headlines once again and this time it’s at least fight adjacent.

McGregor was in attendance for the Anthony Joshua-Robert Helenius on Saturday when he ended up in a war of words with YouTuber/boxer/rapper/entrepreneur KSI.

Both of the men were sitting ringside which meant microphones were destined to be put in front of their faces.

When it came to McGregor, he kicked off the verbal sparring session by taking a shot at KSI when he said: “that man over there couldnโ€™t box eggs if he worked at an egg boxing factory.”

After the fight was over — thanks to a brutal knockout from Anthony Joshua — McGregor entered the ring and once again took a shot at KSI.

This time, McGregor called for a bare-knuckle boxing match.

When KSI eventually responded, he laughed it off and turned it into an opportunity to take a shot at Jake Paul.

But while we wait to see if anything between McGregor and KSI ever comes to fruition, KSI is focused on an upcoming match with Tommy Fury, who most recently defeated Paul. KSI and Fury are set to face off on October 14 at Machester’s AO Arena.
