Undefeated MMA fighter Miguel Grijalva (8-0) was set to headline Fusion Fighting Championships 64 in Peru on Thursday when things went terribly wrong.
Grijalva made the walk to the cage for his fight against Martin Mollinedo (26-11) and walked up the steps onto the canvas. Once he was in the cage and trying to hype himself up for the fight.
Unfortunately for Grijalva, his decision to jump up and down took a turn for the worst when he appeared to blow out his knee before his opponent walked to the cage and before the fight even started.
NO SE PUEDE CREER 😨

Talk about some bad luck.
Since the fight didn’t officially start, mixed martial arts database Tapology scored the fight as a no contest. Whether that decision holds remains to be seen, but we have a feeling Grijalva won’t be bouncing around the cage prior to his next fight after he is fully recovered from the injury.
