Wimbledon reaches its conclusion this weekend at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club. Up first is the women’s singles finals on Center Court, while the men will take the court on Sunday.
Battling it out in The Championship final is unseeded Markéta Vondroušová and No. 6 seed Ons Jabeur, who was last year’s runner-up.
The action will begin at 9:00 a.m. ET on ESPN.
On her journey to the final, Vondroušová faced some stiff competition and knocked out No. 12 seed Veronika Kudermetova in the second round, No. 20 Donna Vekic in the third round, No. 32 Marie Bouzková in the Round of 16, No. 4 Jessica Pegula in the quarterfinal, and the red hot Elina Svitolina in the semis.
Jabeur, meanwhile, had a tough road of her own with wins over Petra Kvitova in the Round of 16, No. 3 Elena Rybakina in the quarterfinal which was a rematch of last year’s final, and No. 2 Aryna Sabalenka in the semis.
Entering Saturday’s championship match, Jabeur is a -230 favorite to bring home the Venus Rosewater Dish while Vondrousova’s odds sit at +185. The over/under for the match is 21.5 total games.
