Social media has been buzzing about a potential MMA bout between Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk after Musk said he would be down to fight Zuck inside of the UFC cage.
UFC president Dana White said the two are serious about the proposal which has led to further speculation.
Unlike Musk, Zuckerberg actually trains in jiu jitsu and has somewhat of a base to enter a fight, and his trainer is giving some perspective on what we could expect to see from him if the bout comes to fruition.
“I can only speak on how hard he works. He works really hard,” his trainer Khai Wu told Forbes.com. “The mindset here is important. I think a lot of people who are successful like him tend to just go, ‘I know it all,’ you know, but he’s still like a student—white belt—shows up, trains hard, puts in the effort, and like wants to learn, you know. He’s a student of the game.
“I wouldn’t be surprised if he became an athlete or competed at a higher level in some sort of athletic sport. Because he really is a student of the game.”
Whether the bout actually happens remains to be seen, but it’s hilarious to think about the billionaires throwing down inside of the cage.
But if it does happen, Musk is likely in over his head.
