The Premier League is coming to the United States!
On Tuesday, April 11, the Premier League announced it will be making the trip to the USA and bringing some of the top players in the world to the 2023 Summer Series which will take place from July 22 through July 30.
The Summer Series will feature 6 clubs facing off in nine matches across five cities.
Teams participating in the Summer Series are Aston Villa, Brentford, Brighton, Chelsea, Fulham, and Newcastle United, while the games will be played in Atlanta, Orlando, Harrison, New Jersey, Philadelphia, and Landover, Maryland.
“We are delighted to be bringing six clubs to the USA in July for the first-ever Premier League Summer Series,” Premier League chief executive Richard Masters said in a statement. “Our clubs have incredible supporters in the US, who passionately follow their teams throughout the season. We have seen this dedication first-hand from the tens of thousands who have attended our Mornings Live fan events and are excited to be building on this by bringing live Premier League action to five cities this summer.
“We are currently enjoying one of the most competitive Premier League seasons of all time at both ends of the table and I am sure we will see some thrilling matches during the tournament.”
Games will air across the NBC Sports platforms, including live streaming on Peacock.
