Lil Wayne Narrates LSU Women’s Basketball Final Four Hype Video

Rapper Lil Wayne has always supported LSU athletics, so it comes as no surprise that the New Orleans native is throwing his support behind the LSU women’s basketball team ahead of its Final Four appearance against No. 1 seed Virginia Tech on Friday night.

Lil Wayne narrated a new hype video for the Tigers that will pump up any LSU fan and get you ready for the big game. It features soundbites from head coach Kim Mulkey and highlights from the team’s run to the Final Four thanks to stars like All-American Angel Reese, All-SEC guard Alex Morris, and SEC Freshman of the Year Flau’jae Johnson.

“A lot can change in two years. All you have to do is believe,” Lil Wayne says. “In two years, you can raise a statue and cut down nets… We’ve come a long way in two years; from watching the dance to leading it. From witnessing history, to making it. From March Sadness, to March Madness.”

Are you ready?

The Tigers and Hokies are set to tip off at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas at 7:00 p.m. ET on ESPN.

The winner will face the winner Iowa vs. South Carolina later in the night in the national championship game on Sunday, April 2.
