Jake Paul Responds To Viral Floyd Mayweather Video; Challenges Him To ‘Real Fight’

Jake Paul has responded to Floyd Mayweather after a confrontation between the two went viral.

On Wednesday night, video began making the rounds of the YouTuber-turned-boxer running away from Mayweather after the undefeated boxing legend and a large group of men rolled up on Paul outside of the Miami Heat game.

After exchanging a few words, Paul took off running from the scene.

People on Twitter immediately began clowning Paul for running away after being so braggadocious in the past and running his mouth with trash talk while promoting his fights. But would anyone really want to fight 1-on-20+ in the streets? Of course not. Paul called out Mayweather for the confrontation with a post on social media.

“Floyd if you want to fight 1 on 1 we can do that but don’t try to hop out of 3 cars 25 dudes deep tryna to jump me while I’m tryna enjoy my Wednesday night,” Paul wrote. “Floyd will not see me 1 on 1 in a real fight. That’s a fact. His team has hit my team numerous times to do one of his ‘exhibitions.’ Now he ambushes me. Come see me in the ring, real fight, no exhibition robbing fans bullshit.”

Paul and Mayweather are no strangers to having confrontations in the past.

During the leadup to an exhibition bout between Mayweather and Jake’s brother, Logan, Jake went viral for snatching Mayweather’s hat and simply yelling, “I got your hat!” A little skirmish ensued and Mayweather allegedly struck Paul during the melee while the YouTuber walked away laughing.

Now, could this all be used as promo for a future exhibition between Mayweather and the younger Paul brother? Only time will tell, but I certainly wouldn’t put it past either of them.
