Dwight Howard continues to make headlines while playing overseas for the Taoyuan Leopards in Taiwan’s T1 basketball league.

Last week, Howard was in the news as one of 12 players who was ejected after a massive brawl on the court, despite the fact that he was simply playing the peacemaker during the skirmish. This time around, it was for a more light-hearted reason.

Howard hilariously participated in the T1 league’s three-point contest during the league’s first-ever All-Star weekend.

The 37-year-old Howard, who made just 22 three-pointers during his NBA career, actually had a respectable performance and finished with 15 points. Sure, it wasn’t enough to win, but it wasn’t the worst performance we have ever seen.

Sure, Howard got off to a slow start, but he finished off strong and that’s what really matters.

For comparison’s sake, Howard would have beat Kevin Huerter (8) and Julius Randle (13) in this year’s NBA three-point contest. Heat star Tyler Herro, meanwhile, would have only beaten Howard by three points (18). So don’t hang your head, Dwight.

Howard, who was named to the T1 League’s All-Star Game, is averaging 24.4 points, 14.1 rebounds, and 6.2 assists per game since signing with the Leopards in November.
