Tempers boiled over in the Taiwan basketball league between the Taoyuan Leopards — the T1 team that former NBA star Dwight Howard plays for — and TaiwanBeer HeroBears.
During the game, Taoyuan guard Chen Hsiao-jung was defending TaiwanBeer guard Chiang Yu-an when Chen took an elbow right to the face. After a little bit of pushing and shoving, an assistant coach for TaiwanBeer came charging onto the court and all hell broke loose.
Punches were thrown, players were tossed to the ground, and Dwight Howard jumped in the middle to try to break things up and make peace.

Who would have thought that Dwight Howard would be the voice of reason?
Despite trying to keep the peace, Howard was among the 12 people ejected from the game. Howard finished the game with 28 points, 14 rebounds and seven assists as his team won, 120-108.
Howard, who was named to the T1 League’s All-Star Game, is averaging 24.4 points, 14.1 rebounds, and 6.2 assists per game since signing with the Leopards in November.
