MLS returns for the 2023 season this weekend, with a packed opening weekend schedule kicking off on Saturday, February 25. A whopping 11 games will be played on Saturday as Matchday 1 kicks off.
The action will resume on Sunday night in primetime with one match before the Matchday 1 finale takes place on Monday.
The season opener will feature Nashville SC vs. New York City FC at GEODIS Park. Kickoff is set for 4:30 p.m. ET on FOX and MLS Season Pass. The Matchday 1 finale features the Portland Timbers vs. Sporting Kansas City at Providence Park. Kickoff is set for 10:00 p.m. ET.
An opening weekend showdown between crosstown rivals LAFC and LA Galaxy was postponed due to weather, but “El Tráfico” has already been rescheduled for July 4 at the Rose Bowl.
All games throughout the 2023 MLS season will be streamed live on the Apple TV+ MLS Season Pass with no blackouts. MLS Season Pass costs $12.99 per month or $79 for a season-long subscription for Apple TV+ subscribers. For non-Apple TV+ subscribers, the monthly base price is $14.99 with a $99 annual option.
