The 2023 WWE Elimination Chamber went down on Saturday night at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It was the 13th Elimination Chamber pay-per-view, and just the first Elimination Chamber event to be held in Canada and the second to take place outside of the United States.
And, boy, were the fans in Montreal in for a show.
The night capped off with a thrilling back-and-forth match between Roman Reigns and Canada’s own Sami Zayn, who received a hero’s welcome and one of the biggest pops in recent WWE history. The crowd was behind Zayn and the energy was electric throughout the duration of the 32-minute match. Ultimately, the crowd was left disappointed when Reigns came out on top to retain his WWE Universal Championship.
Other highlights throughout the night included big wins for Asuka, Austin Theory, Edge and Beth Phoenix, and even an appearance from Logan Paul, who attacked Seth “Freakin'” Rollins during the Elimination Chamber match.
