Every professional wrestling fan has the same feelings when they hear Royal Rumble. It’s the most exciting, unpredictable night on the WWE’s schedule. Saturday night, the WWE delivered again.
Leaving fans speechless as the show went off the air. Here are the results and best reactions to last night’s Royal Rumble event.
Men’s Royal Rumble – Winner: Cody Rhodes
A dream has become reality at #RoyalRumble.

The grandson of a plumber and the son of “The American Dream,” Cody Rhodes punched his ticket to Wrestlemania, winning the 2023 Men’s Royal Rumble match. The match kicked off the festivities of the evening and gave fans plenty of moments to talk about.

One of the cooler surprises of the match was seeing Booker T return to the squared circle. The Texas native gave us another great moment that couldn’t end without the former King of the Ring giving us that patent Spinarooni. A great moment for all of us little suckas that feel the need for Harlem Heat.
WHAT DID WE JUST WITNESS?!?@LoganPaul and @KingRicochet just blew our minds at #RoyalRumble with an unbelievable moment! π€―π€―π€― pic.twitter.com/V5HIMhT0yQ

The most talked about moment from the Men’s Rumble will most notably be Logan Paul and Ricochet pulling off an ungodly circus act. The pair pulled off something I’m not sure anyone has ever seen inside a wrestling ring.
It’s hard for an outsider to come in and win over a wrestling crowd. Logan Paul may have already done that.
Bray Wyatt def. LA Knight
As Bray Wyatt and @RealLAKnight met in the first-ever @MountainDew Pitch Black Match at #RoyalRumble, Uncle Howdy made a big splash! pic.twitter.com/TqYhpt1sAZ
— WWE (@WWE) January 29, 2023
Not a single soul had any idea of what a Mountain Dew Pitch Black match would entail. It’s hard to be the next match after the Royal Rumble. Fans are coming down from the high of watching the Rumble and now have to prepare for one of the strangest things we’ve seen Bray Wyatt do, which is hard to top.
This is a DIFFERENT #BrayWyatt!#RoyalRumble pic.twitter.com/mZ0VSfTrwa

I still have no idea what I watched, but my biggest takeaway is that I wish I knew who Uncle Howdy is. Bray Wyatt continues to push the envelope of strange, and I’m here for it.
Could I make one suggestion for your next match Bray? Give us a Caffiene-Free Pepsi Freezer Match, please!
WWE Raw Women’s Championship – Bianca Belair def. Alexa Bliss

— WWE (@WWE) January 29, 2023
Once again, it’s hard to put on a match after the Royal Rumble match and before another Royal Rumble match in the women’s division. Bianca Belair and Alexa Bliss were in an impossible position that felt more like a filler match than a championship match.

Bliss and Belair gave great effort in a match that felt like everyone got what they wanted. Belair regained the Raw Women’s title while Bliss continued to be teased to rejoin Wyatt in his crusade for lunacy and destruction of the WWE.
Women’s Royal Rumble – Winner: Rhea Ripley
#RoyalRumble just became RHEA RUMBLE!@RheaRipley_WWE has won the Women's Royal Rumble Match from the number 1οΈβ£ spot and now … MAMI IS GOING TO #WRESTLEMANIA!!! pic.twitter.com/5zWrk4QwKN
— WWE (@WWE) January 29, 2023
She was the first entrant, and she was the last to leave the ring. Rhea Ripley won the 2023 Women’s Rumble, giving fan’s the chance to dream of a Belair/Ripley Wrestlemania moment. The finish of the Women’s rumble was a great ending, as Ripley tossed the number two entrant, Liv Morgan, flat on her back to earn her Mania sign finger point.
RHEA RIPLEY WHAT TJE FUCK WAS THAT MOVE ?!?!??!?! pic.twitter.com/77dMEhhc9t

Dominic’s MAMI is the queen of the Rumble, and deservedly so. Ripley has been a star since the moment she came up from NXT and made the main roster. The best finish of Rumble matches last night belonged to the ladies, and it wasn’t even close.
Undisputed WWE Universal Championship – Roman Reigns def. Kevin Owens
Undisputed WWE Universal Champion @WWERomanReigns has strict orders for @SamiZayn at #RoyalRumble!@HeymanHustle #WWETitle pic.twitter.com/zwk7YbZNrL
— WWE (@WWE) January 29, 2023
The match between Roman Reigns and Kevin Owens took a back seat to the drama that unfolded afterward, as Reigns was once again victorious in defending his WWE Universal Championship. A few fun spots in this one but the scene after the match made me forget everything that happened in the bout.
AN HONORARY UCE NO MORE!@SamiZayn has just betrayed @WWERomanReigns and the entire Bloodline at #RoyalRumble! pic.twitter.com/ZtzAF1xGGD
— WWE (@WWE) January 29, 2023
The Honorary UCE, Sami Zayn, had finally had enough of Roman big dogging him and sent the Tribal Chief a chair shot heard round the world. The crowd went bananas when Sami finally landed a blow on Reigns. However, the final scenes of the Rumble were Sami and his best friend Owens lying in the ring after brutal beatings.
Yes, Cody Rhodes punched his ticket to the main event of Wrestlemania, but I’m not quite sure how Sami Zayn doesn’t find himself in that spot as well. Who else is ready for SamiMania?
