The 2023 WWE Royal Rumble is set to go down this weekend at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas. It will be the fourth Royal Rumble event to be held in San Antonio.
Each year, the Royal Rumble is one of the most highly-anticipated events in professional wrestling with the winner earning a shot at the world championship at WrestleMania. The 36th annual Royal Rumble winners will have the choice of challenging for the Raw or SmackDown championships.
Ahead of the Royal Rumble, the oddsmakers handicapped the field and shared the favorites to be the last man and woman standing.
According to BetFair.com, Cody Rhodes is the favorite to earn the title shot, while legends like The Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin could be in the mix. For the women’s match, Rhea Ripley leads the way with former champion Becky Lynch viewed as the biggest roadblock to a win.
