Jake Paul vs Tommy Fury To Take Place In Saudi Arabia In February On ESPN+ PPV

The Jake Paul vs. Tommy Fury fight finally has a location and date set.

After the bout has fallen through on multiple occasions, Paul’s Most Valuable Promotions announced on Friday that the bout will be going down on February 26 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

“Tommy has no excuses now,” Jake said in an announcement on Twitter. “Baby’s born. Money’s massive. Immigration is not an issue.

“Tyson Fury has promised he and Papa John will make Tommy retire from boxing and change his last name forever if he can’t beat the YouTuber. Saturday (tomorrow) I’m coming to London to look at all three Fury’s in the eye and shake on that promise.”The event will be co-promoted by Top Rank Boxing and air on ESPN+ pay-per-view.

The first time Paul and Fury were set to face off, Fury withdrew due to injury. For their second scheduled bout, Fury was forced to withdraw after visa issues prevented him from entering the United States.

“The moment of truth has finally arrived,” Paul said in a press release. “On February 26th, I will get in the ring with a ‘real boxer,’ an 8-0 fighter from a storied fighting family and show the world the truth about who Jake Paul, the boxer really is.”

The 23-year-old Fury is 8-0 in his professional boxing career with four knockouts. Like Paul, Fury brings some crossover appeal after starring on the hit UK reality series Love Island where he finished as the season’s runner-up.

The 26-year-old Paul, meanwhile, is 6-0 with four wins by knockout. In his last bout, Paul scored a unanimous decision victory over mixed martial arts legend Anderson Silva.

In addition to Paul vs. Fury, the card will showcase Ashton “H2O” Sylve, an MVP undefeated fighter, as he is set to face former WBC world title challenger Maxwell Awuku 48-5-1 (33 KO’s) from Accra, Ghana. The fight will be an 8-round Super Featherweight bout.
