Well, this is something you don’t see every day. We have seen college basketball games interrupted for a number of various reasons, but nothing has been quite like the interruption on Wednesday night during a game between Loyola Chicago and Duquesne in Pittsburgh.
Early in the second half at the Palumbo Center, the action on the court had to be halted by an official timeout after an Uber Eats delivery man staggered onto the court.
The Uber Eats guy was looking for a hungry customer who had ordered McDonald’s when he stepped right into the action.
The announcers were dumbfounded by the hilarious moment.

To add to the embarrassment of the person whose Uber Eats order interrupted the game, they were later shown on the video board with their Mickey D’s in hand.
Ref came by an said that it was a first for him. Also the guy who was supposed to get the food is on the video board. He got his MCDs https://t.co/7D8vd3YdtU

What an absolute legend.
As for the game itself, Duquesne cruised to victory, 72-58, after outscoring the Ramblers 41-18 in the second half to advance to 14-7 on the season.
