It was an absolute madhouse in the streets of Buenos Aires today when Argentina showed up for its World Cup celebration.

The team returned home after its championship run in Qatar, and the streets were packed with millions of fans waiting to join in on the party. Fans attempted to jump onto the Argentina team bus going through the streets and eventually the fun was cut short due to overcrowding.

That’s when the Argentina players had to be evacuated from the scene via helicopter, according to TMZ Sports.

While things got out of hand during the celebration, it is a day that no one is going to forget.

Argentina’s win over France gave the country its third overall World Cup victory and its first since 1986.
