We’ve all said something stupid like, “I could do that.” as we sit on the couch, stuffing our faces with the DoorDash we overpaid for. However, what if you could actually do that? Here are five events that you could potentially beat a professional athlete in.
3. Beer Pong

One of the best chances to beat a professional athlete in a competition is to get them off their game. One way to do that is to get them drunk. Yes, the Gronks of the world could probably still handle you while they’re not in a sober state of mind, but something tells me the chances of beating a duo like Mason Plumlee and Gordon Hayward are possible.
2. Eating Competition

Now I’m not saying to go out and challenge an offensive lineman in an eating competition. You would just be setting yourself up for failure. Now, there are other guys on the team you could easily lay waste to in an eating competition. Does anyone know if Justin Tucker can throw down at the buffet?
1. Cornhole

When you see the sloppy, out-of-shape uncle heading to the cornhole boards at the family cookout, it’s time to hit the exits. It’s over! Cornhole is the game for the kings of laziness. Sure, an MLB pitcher or Steph Curry might not be the ideal competitor, but I’m taking your drunk uncle 10 out of 10 times in the battle lines of Cornhole.
