Season 6 continued on Tuesday night with Dana White’s Contender Series 53. At the end of the night, if any fighters impressed UFC President Dana White enough, they were awarded a UFC contract.
In the featured bout of the night, light heavyweights took center stage when Rodalfo Bellato (8-1) faced undefeated Vitor Petrino (6-0). Other bouts were held at welterweight, heavyweight, lightweight, and women’s flyweight.
When it was all said and down, four contracts were handed out — including to the Bonfim brothers, who became the second sibling pair in DWCS history to earn contracts.
The contracts went to Vitor Petrino, Gabriel Bonfim, Karl Williams, and Ismael Bonfim.
