WATCH: Jake Paul Releases Unedited Video Of Hasim Rahman Jr Sparring Session

The Jake Paul vs. Hasim Rahman Jr. pay-per-view may have been canceled after miscommunications about weight, but that hasn’t stopped the two from continuing to go after each other on social media.

After staging his own weigh-in on Friday, August 5, Rahman took to social media to share a clip from his sparring session with Paul that showed the former YouTube star turning his back and running away from his opponent in the cage. Rahman had previously mentioned the incident during their pre-fight press conference in New York leading up to the canceled bout.

Well, Paul wasn’t going to let Rahman one up him on social media, so he responded by releasing the full, unedited video from their 2020 sparring session.

“Full 5 rounds of sparring from 2.5 years ago so that y’all can see me beat his ass. No edits,” Paul wrote on social media while sharing the YouTube video. “People love to make clip outs to make themselves feel better but I always give you all the truth!”

Paul and Rahman were originally scheduled to face off on August 6 at Madison Square Garden in New York City. However, the original weight limit for the fight was 200 pounds, which was raised to 205 pounds by the New York State Athletic Commission. Rahman’s team countered with a 215-pound weight limit which ultimately sparked the cancellation.
