ESPN always finds a way to have a song that will live in your head rent-free during the college football season. The decision has been made for this upcoming season to feature Yungblud’s ‘The Emperor’ be the song you sing to bed every night after watching a little PAC-12 after dark.
It's August and you know what that means …

Yungblud had this to say about his song being featured on ESPN’s coverage of college football: “It’s a massive honor to have my song ‘The Emperor’ chosen as the anthem for ESPN’s college football season. I wrote this song when I was 17; it was just an outburst of unfiltered energy that I knew would have its moment one day,”
If you weren't already ready for college football, you will be after watching this.

Fans have had the likes of Panic At The Disco’s ‘High Hopes’ and Fall Out Boy’s ‘Centuries’ burned in their craniums before the season even kicked off. It honestly wouldn’t matter if ESPN had chosen ‘Hit Me Baby One More Time because we college football fans crave the action on the field. The time is fastly approaching for tailgates and cookouts. It would be a bright idea to add Yungblud to your tailgating playlist now, as visions of footballs and drunken college kids dance in your head. College football is coming!
