Dana White’s Contender Series returned for another season last week as the UFC attempts to find some of the top up-and-coming prospects in mixed martial arts.
Season 6 continues on Tuesday night with Dana White’s Contender Series 48. At the end of the night, if any fighters impress UFC President Dana White enough, they will be awarded a UFC contract.
In the main event. Charlie Campbell (6-1) takes on Chris Duncan (8-1) in a lightweight bout. The co-main event, meanwhile, features a flyweight bout between Shannon Ross and Vinicius Salvador.
Other bouts on the night include Francis Marshall vs. Connor Matthews at flyweight, a heavyweight bout between Waldo Cortes-Acosta and Danilo Suzart, and the main card opener between Billy Goff and Shimon Smotritsky at welterweight.
Ahead of this week’s event, all 10 fighters had to step onto the scale for the official weigh-ins.
