Emma Raducanu is a hot commodity every time she enters a tournament, because she has shown an ability to speak multiple languages fluently. She can speak English, Mandarin, and Romanian, while also dabbling in some other languages across the globe. So when she sat down with the media ahead of her debut match at the Italian Open, Raducanu was asked whether she learned any words in Italian.
After a brief pause, the 19-year-old said, “Err. I did… like, que cazzo?” There was an uproar of laughter in the background which made the Brit realize she may have made a mistake. “Is that a bad word?”, she asked. “My friend taught me that word. Cut that one. What does it mean?”
Apparently, Raducanu unknowingly dropped a phrase which means “What the f*ck?” After realizing her blunder, everyone had a laugh at the honest mistake.

Unfortunately for Raducanu, her time at the Italian Open was brief after a nagging back injury suffered in the Round of 16 last week in Madrid forced her to retire from the match against Bianca Andreescu in the second set.
But hey, this moment made a lasting impact.
