If game one between the Memphis Grizzlies and the Golden State Warriors indicates how the rest of the series will be played, fans are in for a treat. Game 1 had the Twitter world buzzing from the tip.

It started early when Gary Payton the II slammed a cramma jam on blossoming star Desmond Bane in the 1st quarter. The FedEx Forum became unglued and became a great atmosphere throughout the entire game. Payton continues to flash his athleticism with another highlight-reel finish.

Both teams battled like heavyweights throughout the entire game. Leads changed, and momentum swayed back and forth throughout. In no surprise, a Splash Brother put the nail in the Grizzlies’ coffin when Klay Thompson showed how lethal he could be, putting the Warriors up for good.

Fans are already craving the next time these two take the court. Game 2 will take place on Tuesday night. Sunday’s classic will be hard to follow.
However, the offensive firepower on both sides will be hard to stop for two struggling defenses. The only thing fans should be hoping for is that this series goes seven games.
