The USFL is set to return this weekend with 8 teams.
In the North division will be Michigan Panthers, New Jersey Generals, Philadelphia Stars, and Pittsburgh Maulers, while the Birmingham Stallions, Houston Gamblers, New Orleans Breakers, and Tampa Bay Bandits make up the South.
Each team will play 10 games throughout the season — two games against the teams in their division and one against each team in the opposite division.
Ahead of opening weekend, each team took to social media to unveil their brand new mascots for the league’s return.
Here are brand new mascots for the USFL.

The league officially kicks off on Saturday, April 16 with the New Jersey Generals taking on the Birmingham Stallions. The game, which begins at 7:30 p.m. ET, will air on FOX, NBC, and Peacock.
The remaining teams will take the field throughout the day on Sunday with coverage on NBC, Peacock, USA, and FOX Sports 1.
