The 2022 MLB season is underway and the race for the World Series is in its earliest stages.
While there is a ton of baseball left to play, sportsbook BetOnline.ag looked through the Twitter data to determine which team each state believes will win it all.
The map is based on geotagged Twitter data in the last month (30 days), tracking tweets, hashtags, and direct keyword phrases about who will win the World Series this year. For example phrases like, “Yankees will win the World Series,” “Dodgers will win the World Series,” “Cardinals will win the World Series,” “Astros will win the World Series this year,” etc.
Over 120,000 tweets were tracked.
