Tiger Woods hitting the course for The Masters could actually become a reality.
After speculation about whether the five-time Masters champion would be able to play just over one year since suffering serious leg injuries in a car accident, Woods will reportedly be making an effort to play.
On Tuesday, Woods arrived at Augusta National Golf Club where he will scout the course and “exhaust every effort” to play in the tournament. Woods remains on the list of players in the field and Golf Channel’s Todd Lewis suggested playing in the tournament is a real possibility.
“This is a critical week for (Woods) to see if his body can sustain 72 holes at Augusta National. He will exhaust every effort to play The Masters,” Lewis wrote on Twitter.
Video showed Woods’ jet arriving in Augusta ahead of the tournament.

Woods was spotted over the weekend practicing at The Medalist golf club as he gets his reps up. This week, Woods is expected to scout Augusta National and “further evaluate his body and game on tournament grounds.”
Woods played alongside his son Charlie at the PNC Championship in December 2021, but Woods was able to use a golf cart.
The 2022 Masters Tournament is set to begin on Thursday, April 7, and will run through Sunday, April 10. Whether Woods is able to play remains to be seen, but his availability would certainly lead to blockbuster ratings.
