Patton Kizzire would love to have that one back.
The PGA Tour golfer was teeing off at the iconic Hole 17 at TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida during The Players Championship when he hit a shot he will want to forget.
Kizzire hit an all-time brutal shank that could have landed on the Hole 16 fairway with a little more juice.
Yes, it was really that bad.
A shank on 17.
Not the first.

Earlier in the day, Shane Lowry hit an ace on the hole, but let’s be honest… we love watching shots that remind us PGA Tour players are human.
After all, if they can hit a brutal shot like that on tour, we can justify shanking shots while drinking beers with the bros on a Saturday afternoon.
Pro golfers, ladies and gentlemen, they are just like us.
