A salty Florida State football fan took to social media to show his disgust with Seminoles alum Deion Sanders after top recruit Travis Hunter flipped from FSU to Coach Prime’s Tigers.
The No. 1 recruit became the first five-star recruit to commit to an FCS program, and it was a monumental signing for HBCUs.
Of course, the Florida State faithful were not happy to lose out to Deion Sanders and they quickly showed off their overreactions. One fan went as far as to burn a signed and framed Deion Sanders jersey.
“My most prized possession of all my FSU memorabilia. Deion was my childhood hero,” the fan wrote. “I hope they never allow him back on campus. FSU should immediately un-retire his number as well. He has never given a damn dime back to the school, so no one should really be surprised!”

And then there is the video of his “prized possession” going up in flames.

Let this serve as another reminder that acting emotionally for internet clout is never a good idea. He’s going to regret this one.
