Jeff Hardy has been released by WWE.
On Thursday morning, it was announced that Hardy has been dropped from the company after the Superstar was sent home from the WWE’s tour over the weekend. Hardy had abruptly left the ring and walked out through the crowd during the main event match against Roman Reigns and the Uso brothers.
According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful.com, Hardy was offered help and rehab by WWE but he declined.
When he was sent home from the tour over the weekend, it was reported that Hardy was suffering from a “rough night” before WWE’s decision.

Earlier this week, his brother Matt Hardy commented on Jeff’s situation during a Twitch stream without going into much detail.
“I did speak to Jeff for a little bit today and he’s OK, he’s good,” Matt Hardy said, via WrestlingNews.co. “I think he’ll be fine but once again, this isn’t my business and if he wants to go into it in more detail then he’ll do it himself. Jeff is OK. He is at home and he is OK. It’s not my business. It’s not my story to tell or explain and besides that, I wouldn’t be able to do it justice anyway because it’s not from my perspective so I love my brother and I just want my brother to be okay and healthy.”
We hope Hardy gets the help he needs and that better times are ahead.
