The women’s college basketball season is ramping up and we’ve already been treated to some incredible matchups. With the latest week of action from the new season under our belts, the Associated Press announced the AP Top 25 for Week 3 of the regular season. The poll was delayed for one day to wait for the result of No. 1 South Carolina vs. No. 2 UConn.
With the Gamecocks getting the big win, South Carolina retains the top spot in the latest poll as the unanimous No. 1 team in the country. Maryland jumps UConn for the No. 2 spot, while the Huskies fall one place to No. 3.
Rounding out the top five is the Indiana Hoosiers and North Carolina State Wolfpack.
