Poker Player Flops Quads; Suffers Brutal Beat At World Series of Poker Main Event (VIDEO)

The World Series of Poker Main Event always brings us truly remarkable hands. This one, as incredible as they come, ended up horribly for one player just before the guaranteed money portion of the tournament began.

For The Win had a breakdown of the epic hand that ended with a brutal beat after both players ended up with four-of-a-kind aka quads.

The two players involved, Chang Liu and Ugur Secilmis, went head-to-head after initially calling an 11,500-chip bet on the flop. The flop was 6-4-4 which gave Liu quad-fours. Secilmis, meanwhile, started with a pair of 6s so he flopped a full house.

When the turn came, disaster struck because another 6 hit the table which gave Secilmis a higher four-of-a-kind.

Naturally, both players went all-in and there was nothing but shock when the hands were revealed. You win some and you lose some, but this will be a tough one to forget.
