Bellator MMA returns to action on Friday to kick off an action-packed weekend of combat sports with Bellator 270 at 3Arena in Dublin, Ireland.
In the main event, former lightweight champion Patricky Pitbull (23-10) takes on No. 4-ranked contender Peter Queally (13-5-1) of Ireland for the vacant world title. The two men previously faced off in May at Bellator 258 with Queally earning a second-round TKO victory via doctor stoppage. Now, Pitbull looks to even the score.
In the co-main event, two grappling aces go head-to-head when local favorite James “The Strabanimal” Gallagher (11-1) takes on No. 3-ranked Patchy Mix (14-1) in what promises to be a thrilling bout.
Ahead of Friday night’s event, all of the fighters had to step onto the scale for the official weigh-ins. The only fighter to miss their mark was Patch Mix, who weighed in 1.8-pounds above the 136-pound bantamweight limit.
