Dana White’s Contender Series returned for another season this week as the UFC attempts to find some of the top up-and-coming prospects in mixed martial arts. The season will air weekly on ESPN+.
Season 5 continues on Tuesday night with Dana White’s Contender Series 44 in week eight. At the end of the night, if any fighters impress UFC President Dana White enough, they will be awarded a UFC contract.
In the featured bout of the night, welterweights Jonny Parsons (7-1) and Solomon Renfro (8-1) go head-to-head. Other bouts are scheduled to take place in the strawweight, light heavyweight, and bantamweight divisions.
Ahead of Tuesday night’s fights, all of the fighters had to step onto the scale at the UFC host hotel for the official weigh-ins in Las Vegas. The fights will take place on Tuesday at the UFC Apex.
