The LSU football program announced that Ed Orgeron will not be returning as head coach next season.

Orgeron and the Tigers came to an agreement to part ways after the season on Sunday, according to Adam Rittenberg of ESPN. Orgeron is still expected to finish out the season.

The news comes one day after the unranked Tigers upset No. 20 Florida.

Two seasons ago, LSU won the national championship after going 15-0. The leam was led by Heisman Trophy winner Joe Burrow.

Unfortunately for the Tigers, they were unable to build off of the success and have been struggling on the field. Prior to the win over Florida, LSU suffered back-to-back losses to Auburn and Kentucky.
