Sage Steele is set to return to the ESPN airwaves.
On Tuesday, the Worldwide Leader in Sports announced that Steele will be returning to her role as co-host of the noon SportsCenter after a temporary hiatus.
Steele was sidelined amid controversy surrounding her comments about ESPN’s vaccine mandate and a positive COVID-19 test.
She will be returning to the SportsCenter desk on Thursday, October 14.

Steele previously apologized for her controversial comments.
“I know my recent comments created controversy for the company, and I apologize,” she said in a statement after ESPN announced she would be temporarily removed from the air.
“We are in the midst of an extremely challenging time that impacts all of us, and it’s more critical than ever that we communicate constructively and thoughtfully.”
Now, she can return to her gig and hopefully avoid further controversy.
