The Ultimate Fighting Championship returns to pay-per-view on Saturday, September 25 with UFC 266 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The pay-per-view features a championship doubleheader and the highly-anticipated return of Nick Diaz.
Diaz will be facing off against former welterweight champion Robbie Lawler in a featured bout on the pay-per-view main card.
Diaz and Lawler first faced off more than 15 years ago at UFC 47 on April 2, 2004. Diaz scored an incredible second-round knockout win at the event in Las Vegas.
The 38-year-old Diaz has not fought since UFC 183 in January 2015. Diaz suffered a unanimous decision loss, but the bout was overturned to a no-contest after Diaz tested positive for marijuana and Silva tested positive for the steroids drostanolone and androsterone. Lawler, meanwhile, last fought against Neil Magny in August 2020, dropping a unanimous decision.
