MLB is heading to Williamsport, Pennsylvania later this month for the 2021 Little League Classic between the Cleveland Indians and Los Angeles Angels at Muncy Bank Ballpark at Historic Bowman Field on Sunday, August 22. The game will air nationally on ESPN.
“The MLB Little League Classic is an unforgettable experience for our Little League Baseball World Series players, and a day where Little Leaguers dream of being Major Leaguers and the Major Leaguers dream of being Little Leaguers again,” said Stephen D. Keener, Little League President and CEO. “We are grateful for our continued partnership with MLB and their commitment to growing youth baseball and softball. We look forward to giving a warm Williamsport welcome to the Angels and Indians next summer and creating memories that will last a lifetime.”
Ahead of the game, the official Little League Classic uniforms for each team were announced and they certainly deliver.
The Nike uniforms give a nod to the classic Little League World Series uniforms with each team representing a “region.” The Angeles jerseys feature “West” across the chest, while the Indians rep the “Great Lakes.” Each team has their team logo on the chest.
