Errol Spence Jr. has been forced out of his highly-anticipated title fight with Manny Pacquiao due to injury.
According to a report from ESPN’s Dan Rafael, Spence has withdrawn from next week’s scheduled bout with a torn retina in his left eye. pence was set to defend his WBC and IBF welterweight titles against Pacquiao at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, while the vacant The Ring welterweight strap was also on the line.
With Spence on the sidelines, Yordenis Ugas will step into the main event.
Ugas was set to defend his WBA (Regular) welterweight title on the undercard.
