A literal ‘Malice in the Palace’ style brawl between players and fans in the stands of the NJ Jackals game just broke out while @NjTank99 was judging a hotdog contest on the other side of the stadium.

A wild brawl broke out between players and fans in the stands during a baseball game in New Jersey this week.
During a hot dog eating contest during a Frontier League game between the New Jersey Jackals and Sussex County Miners, players and fans nearly got into a brawl in the stands. Players charged into the stands after fans allegedly threw beer at them, according to TMZ Sports.
Luckily, cooler heads prevailed and an all-out brawl was avoided.
Play eventually resumed.
As for why the fans got so rowdy, look no further than the game’s promotion. It was Dollar Beer Night at Yogi Berra Stadium in Little Falls, and it’s clear that some fans took full advantage of the special offer.
