Joey Chestnut continues to be king.
The annual Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest at Coney Island in Brooklyn, New York welcomed fans back after a closed-doors event a year ago due to the coronavirus pandemic.
When it was all said and done, Chestnut retained his status as the Glizzy God by breaking his own record with a whopping 76 hot dogs and buns in 10 minutes.
Chestnut slowed down midway through the competition, but the roars from the crowd gave him the energy he needed to get over the hump. It was yet another legendary performance by the greatest competitive eater of our generation.
ESPN had some broadcasting issues, but we still witnessed history.
Joey Chestnut is the single most dominant athlete (in their sport) of all time.

As an added bonus, bettors who placed wagers on the over 73.5 got to make some cash.
God bless America.
