Oops. The New York Yankees just couldn’t catch a break over the weekend.

After getting swept by the rival Boston Red Sox, the Yankees’ embarrassment continued when the team’s equipment truck got stuck while trying to leave Fenway Park.

According to Pete Abraham of the Boston Globe, the equipment truck while exiting the ballpark after a 9-2 loss after striking a garage door.

And since this is the internet, there was photo evidence of the mishap.

This is the perfect summary of how things have been going for the Yankees recently.

The Yankees currently sit in fourth place in the AL East with a 40-37 record, behind the Red Sox, Tampa Bay Rays, and Toronto Blue Jays. New York is 6.5 games behind the division-leading Red Sox, who hold a 47-31 mark.
