A baseball player in the Dominican Republic was not feeling much love from the umpire, and things took a turn for the worst.
Over the weekend in the San José de Ocoa Peasant League tournament, player Elvis Lebrón could be seen jawing back and forth with the ump. Eventually, Lebrón was ejected.
While it initially looked like Lebrón was making his way to the dugout, he quickly turned around and charged at the umpire with his bat.
The two were eventually separated, but Lebrón later went back after the ump and threw his helmet before returning again forcing both teams to leave their dugouts to separate the two.
Lebrón was reportedly affiliated with the Chicago Cubs, but they have parted ways after the incident.
Gomez later added that Lebrón had been arrested, though the exact charges have not been announced.
