The 2021 Preakness Stakes is set to take place on Saturday, May 15 at Pimlico Race Course in Baltimore, Maryland.

Ahead of the race, the post positions were drawn and early odds were placed for the 10-horse field who qualified. After some drama, it was announced that Kentucky Derby winner Medina Spirit would be able to compete despite a positive drug test following the Kentucky Derby.

For the second leg of the Triple Crown, Medina Spirit is once again favored, while Concert Tour follows close behind.

Midnight Bourbon, Crowded Trade, and Rombauer are among the other favorites in the field.
