Chet Holmgren, the No. 1 basketball recruit in this year’s class, has announced his decision.
The 7-footer announced that he will be committing to the Gonzaga Bulldogs, who are fresh off of an appearance in the NCAA Tournament championship game against Baylor after being ranked No. 1 all season.
Holmgren, a likely one-and-done player, is projected as a potential No. 1 overall pick in the 2022 NBA Draft.

Gonzaga has long been a contender outside of the Power Five conferences and has shown the ability to compete at a high level.
Now that they continue to pull in top blue-chip recruits like Holmgren, Mark Few is showing that his program will remain at the top for the foreseeable future.
