Nike is taking action against the company behind the controversial “Satan Shoes,” a collaborative effort between MSCHF and rapper Lil Nas X.
The shoes released with a $1,018 price tag and are custom Nike Air Max 97s said to contain one drop of human blood. The “Satan Shoes” promoted a limited drop of 666 individually numbered pairs.
Unfortunately for MSCHF, they have no found themselves in a lawsuit after Nike filed a complaint for trademark infringement, false designation of origin, and more.
The complaint was filed in the United States District Court — Eastern District of New York.

Nike had previously denied any involvement and distanced itself from the sneaker after there was backlash on social media.
“We do not have a relationship with Lil Nas X or MSCHF,” a Nike spokesperson said in a statement sent to Input. “Nike did not design or release these shoes and we do not endorse them.”
