Olympic Ski Jumper Daniel-Andre Tande Seriously Injured In Horrifying Crash (VIDEO)

Daniel-Andre Tande, an Olympic ski jumper, was competing at a World Cup event in Slovenia when things went terribly wrong.

The 27-year-old hit the jump before immediately turning his body sideways. Tande, who won the gold medal at the 2018 Winter Olympics, violently slammed into the slopes in a horrifying crash.

Tande had to be “intubated and mechanically ventilated” before being loaded into an ambulance, according to TMZ Sports.

The good news, however, is that the injuries are considered non-life-threatening.

“The fall has looked dramatic for us and we are now relieved after the first diagnosis that Daniel’s injuries are not life-threatening,” Norwegian Ski Jumping Team leader Clas Brede Brathen said.

Tande is continuing to be monitored and will undergo further testing on Friday.

We wish Tande a full and speedy recovery.
