Leon Edwards is one of the top welterweights in mixed martial arts. The 29-year-old from Erdington, Birmingham, England is currently ranked No. 3 in the UFC’s welterweight division

Edwards made his UFC debut in November 2014 with a split-decision loss to Claudio Silva, before bouncing back in the biggest way possible.

When Edwards, a former BAMMA welterweight champion, returned to action at UFC Krakow in April 2015, he scored a stunning 8-second knockout victory over Seth Baczynski which earned him a $50,000 Performance of the Night bonus.

The knockout is tied for the third-fastest in UFC history behind Jorge Masvidal’s five-second KO of Ben Askren and seven-second KOs from Todd Duffee, Ryan Jimmo, and Chan Sung Jung.
