The Ultimate Fighting Championship kicked up the month of March with a star-studded UFC 259 pay-per-view featuring a whopping three championship bouts.

When the night was all said and done, two titles were retained while one bit switched had after a shocking disqualification.

Jan Blachowicz and Amanda Nunes retained their belts, while Petr Yan was disqualified due to an illegal knee directly to the temple of Aljamain Sterling, which gave Sterling the victory and the new bantamweight crown.

Following the event, the Nevada State Athletic Commission handed down its medical suspensions from the event.

Among the longest bans is middleweight champion Israel Adesanya, who could be sidelined for six months. Adesanya must have a left foot and ankle x-ray and be cleared by an orthopedic doctor or else he cannot return to action until September 3, 2021.
