Don’t mess with Barack Obama, that is a lesson we learned on the new Spotify podcast featuring the former president and Bruce Springsteen.
While speaking with Springsteen on their podcast, “Renegades: Born in the USA,” Obama recalled a moment from his childhood where he confronted a classmate during a basketball game.
Obama says he got into a fight with his friend after they called him a racial slur.
After the incident, Obama said he “popped him in the face and broke his nose” while they were in the locker room.
Obama and Springsteen are completing the six-part podcast series on Spotify with episode three set to hit the streaming service soon.
