The Ultimate Fighting Championship has a new partner. On Friday, the UFC announced that it has partnered with popular social media app TikTok, in an effort to grow the mixed martial arts promotion’s reach with a younger audience.

The deal will include weekly shows on the platform that will feature interviews, arena tours, training segments, weigh-ins, and more.

“We want to be everywhere our fans are consuming content and TikTok continues to break new ground in reaching a diverse, global audience,” UFC SVP of International and Content, David Shaw said in a statement.

“This collaboration is a great way to drive awareness to our tent pole live events while delivering compelling content to our fans, 24/7.”

The partnership kicks off this week with UFC Vegas 19: Blaydes vs. Lewis.

“This partnership with TikTok is a tremendous addition to UFC’s content distribution ecosystem,” said David Shaw, UFC Senior Vice President of International and Content.  “We want to be everywhere our fans are consuming content, and TikTok continues to break new ground in reaching a diverse, global audience.  This collaboration is a great way to drive awareness to our tent pole live events while delivering compelling content to our fans, 24/7.”

If the promotion wants to grow its younger audience, TikTok is the perfect place to turn to.

And as an added bonus, TikTok is based in China, bringing an even greater audience as the promotion continues to grow in that market.
